Freshman point guard Dedan Thomas Jr. scored 25 points to lead UNLV to an 80-77 road win over No. 25-ranked New Mexico on Saturday night at The Pit in Albuquerque.

Junior forward Rob Whaley Jr. added 16 points for UNLV (13-9, 6-4 Mountain West), which has won four straight games.

The Rebels have won 10 of their last 11 games against New Mexico (19-5, 7-4)
