As far as I’m concerned, all ties are bad.

A tie may be deemed “good” for one reason : no reduction.

For example, you bet bank.

Player gets two cards = 0 and gets a third card, 6. Then banker gets total of of 6 and draws another card. Getting monkey is good rather than a reduction in points.

Another situation. If player has to cards totaling 2 and the Banker’s two cards equal a 3, then player draws 4 (total 6)and banker card drawn is no sides (A, 2 or 3). Then its a tie is good because max of 6 is better than a loss.
