Morrissey will open his 2026 U.S. tour with four performances in August at Encore Theater at Wynn Las Vegas, the resort announced Monday.

The former Smiths frontman will perform at 8 p.m. Aug. 14, 15, 18 and 19, as part of a late summer and fall tour supporting his new album, “Make-Up Is a Lie,” and an upcoming EP.

“Make-Up Is a Lie,” released March 6 on Sire/Warner Records, is Morrissey’s 14th solo studio album and his first on the label in 30 years. The album debuted at No. 3 on the UK Albums Chart. MOJO Magazine called it his “most convincing howl for ages.”

On June 19, Morrissey will release the “Deluxe Notre-Dame EP,” featuring unreleased tracks from the album sessions, including “Notre-Dame (Orchestrated Version),” “Hello Hell” and “Happy New Tears.” The EP is available for preorder now digitally and on yellow vinyl.

As co-founder and lead singer of The Smiths, Morrissey built a catalog that includes “This Charming Man,” “How Soon Is Now?” and “There Is a Light That Never Goes Out.” His solo work, spanning more than four decades, includes such songs as “Suedehead” and “Irish Blood, English Heart.”

After the Las Vegas engagement, the tour continues through the fall with stops in New York, Massachusetts, Washington, D.C., North Carolina, Kentucky, Tennessee, Texas and Arizona before wrapping up Nov. 14 at the Darker Waves festival in Huntington Beach, Calif.

Tickets go on sale to the general public at noon PDT Friday via Ticketmaster.

The 1,480-seat Encore Theater ranked No. 1 on Billboard’s list of top venues under 2,000 capacity in 2025. The shows are presented by AEG Presents Las Vegas.
