LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A woman was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries following a crash Saturday morning in the south Las Vegas valley.

Around 9 a.m., the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department responded to a crash on the 4300 Block of Eagle Summit Avenue near West Silverado Ranch and South Decatur boulevards.

According to police, a 2007 Toyota Rav4 veered out of its lane, crashing into a garage and a south wall. The vehicle sustained significant damage on the front, and the 33-year-old driver was taken to a nearby hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries, LVMPD said.

This crash remains under investigation.
