LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A woman was shot and killed while sitting inside a vehicle in Downtown Las Vegas.
On Saturday around 2:35 a.m., Metro police responded to a report of a woman shot in the 400 block of 11th Street near Lewis Avenue. When officers arrived they found a woman inside a vehicle suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said the victim and a friend were sitting in the vehicle talking when two men walked past them. Moments later shots were fired and was struck.
