LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — As the “entertainment capitol of the world,” Las Vegas knows how to throw a party, especially on New Year’s Eve. But who is ringing in the New Year at Sphere, the Strip’s newest addition?
The venue announced in a release Monday that Anyma, a “world-renowned” DJ who presents one-of-a-kind audiovisual experiences will take to the stage on Dec. 31 to help Sphere welcome 2025.
Sphere invited guests to “witness the perfect culmination of technological forces” on New Year’s Eve, with “The End of Genesys,” a show by Anyma presented by Afterlife, the release stated. This will be the venue’s first New Year’s Eve show.
Anyma, whose real name is Matteo Milleri, is an American DJ and producer who is one half of the duo Tale Of Us with Carmine Conte. Milleri as Anyma released his debut EP, “Claire,” in 2021 and put out his first full-length album “Genesys” in August 2023.
Dance music publication We Rave You called Anyma a “formidable presence in the electronic music scene” shortly before “Genesys” was released.
“Genesys” was followed by “Genesys II” a year later.
As the first electronic music act at Sphere, Anyma will present the audio/visual “Genesys” show, which he has performed for audiences around the world.
The Sphere show will include special guests and showcase a “meticulously curated” music selection and visual art to create “an unforgettable and distinctive encounter” at the venue.
“Fans can expect a sensory-expanding mix of innovative visuals and sounds that defy the boundaries of what’s possible,” the release stated.
