I’m putting an 8# prime rib in the oven in a few minutes. My dad was the best cook and he made this for Christmas and his birthday. I lost him in April, I hope he’s watching down on me and tells me when it’s a perfect medium rare.
edited: I did a pretty good job, the thicker end was closer to medium rare and the smaller end more medium, which is fine, I prefer medium, hubs medium rare. I did make some blackeyed peas. The only blackeyed peas I like have Will I Am in it . But, the one year I didn’t eat them, my vehicle got broken into my first day back at work in the new year so now I always have some.
