Polling site locations and more

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — It’s primary election day and voters across Nevada will cast their ballot setting the stage for the general election in November. Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday.

The higher-profile races include seats held by Senator Jacky Rosen and Representative Susie Lee, both Democrats. The Las Vegas mayor’s seat is also open and more than a dozen candidates are vying for that. It will be the first time in 25 years someone other than a Goodman will be in the mayor’s office. The front runners in that race are former Congresswoman Shelly Berkley, and city council members Cedric Crear, and Victoria Seaman.

If a candidate gets at least 50% of the vote, they will win the primary. Otherwise, the top two candidates will move on to the General Election.

There are more than 100 voting sites around the Las Vegas valley. Voters can go to any site. This link features a list of the polling sites and the wait time. All voting sites also serve as drop-off locations for mail ballots. The deadline for receiving mail-in ballots is 5 p.m., Saturday, June 15. People can still register to vote at this link.
