Does anyone venture to banks near the Strip to withdraw additional funds while on their gambling trip?
Friend of mine is in Vegas now, and mentioned Friday he went to a nearby Bank of America, and spent nearly an hour in the line to withdraw 4,100 from his savings account he has with them.

He said they had to get two people to sign off/approve the withdrawal, and because his account was opened out of state (not in NV, but in PA), they had to confirm some additional ownership information.

Aside from stopping in an ATM in the casino from time to time, it has been many years since I made a lobby transaction inside a Vegas bank.

Anyone else recently visited a bank near the strip? Is my friend’s experience normal for tourists?
