LAS VEGAS (KLAS) – Workers at the Venetian and Palazzo have voted 99% to ratify new union contracts.

The vote came down on Tuesday evening, according to the union.

As many as 4,000 hotel and casino workers, from housekeepers and cocktail servers to bartenders and porters will now have a union contract.

Last week, the union announced that a tentative deal had come together after a year of negotiations.

The Venetian opened in 1999 and the adjoining Palazzo in 2007.

The union is now looking to win five-year contracts for workers at the Sphere, and Fontainebleau Las Vegas, and Virgin Hotels.
