LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Prepare your appetite because the 17th annual Las Vegas Restaurant Week is back for nearly two weeks of dining out and giving back.
The 12-day event offers restaurants in the community an opportunity to give back through culinary arts. People can give by dining at participating restaurants during the 12 days. A portion of the proceeds goes to support the mission of Three Square Food Bank, which provides meals to food-insecure families and individuals.
This year more than 250 restaurants are participating in Restaurant Week, the most of any year. Participating restaurants across the valley are offering a variety of globally inspired flavors, including Italian, Chinese, Mediterranean, Brazilian, Mexican, and more are featuring breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner options.
Each restaurant will offer assorted prix fixe menus at price points ranging from $20 to $120 with $4, $5, or $6 from each meal donated to Three Square. Special promotions will also be offered by more than 15 participating food service businesses, including local bars and breweries and coffee shops, with $1, $2 or $3 from each purchase donated to Three Square.
One in seven Southern Nevadans are food insecure. Every dollar donated to Three Square Food Bank can provide three meals for those in need. Last year’s donations allowed Three Square to provide more than 660,000 meals to the community. Since its inception in 2007, millions of meals have been provided for those in need through Las Vegas Restaurant Week.
Restaurant Week begins Monday, June 3 and runs through Friday, June 14. For a list of participating restaurants, click here.
