LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — When the action ends, the laughs begin as officials announced the newest addition to WrestleMania week in Las Vegas on Monday.
The Roast of WrestleMania is set to take the stage at the BleauLive Theater at Fontainebleau Las Vegas as part of WrestleMania week in the sports and entertainment capital of the world. Featuring comedian Tony Hinchcliffe, the mind behind Kill Tony, the Roast of WrestleMania promises to bring together “top comics and entertainers for an unforgettable night of laughs and huge surprises.”
Joining Hinchcliffe and friends will be WWE performers Sami Zayn, The Miz, Braun Strowman, Paul Heyman, and more. The “closed-doors” event will not be televised.
The Roast of WrestleMania will take place after night two of the granddaddy of them all, WrestleMania 41, which takes place just a few miles away at Allegiant Stadium. Tickets for the roast will go on sale on Friday at 8 a.m., with a presale opportunity available on Wednesday at 8 a.m. at Ticketmaster. Additionally, premium packages will be available through On Location.
The Roast of WrestleMania joins a stacked week of pro wrestling events built around WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas, where WWE undisputed champion “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes takes on a newly-villainous John Cena, and “Main Event” Jey Uso will collide with “The Ring General” Gunther for the world heavyweight championship. The card for the 2-night mega event at Allegiant Stadium continues to be pulled into focus daily, with matches featuring women’s world champion IYO SKY, Bianca Belair, Royal Rumble winner Charlotte Flair, and WWE women’s champion Tiffany Stratton all scheduled.
Additional events around the “showcase of the immortals” include televised WWE events like Smackdown, NXT Stand & Deliver, and Raw at T-Mobile Arena. Also augmenting WrestleMania week is WWE World by Fanatics, a weeklong fan experience at the Las Vegas Convention Center, and the WWE Hall of Fame induction ceremony at the BleauLive Theater.
