LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Thousands of children across the Las Vegas valley rely on free or reduced meals during the school year. However, when school is out for the summer break, Three Square Food Bank steps in and ensures the children don’t miss out on meals.

Children can get breakfast and lunch meals through the “Meet Up Eat Up” program. The program provides nutritious meals to children 18 years of age and younger in low-income areas over the summer months.

The program is offered at 100 locations across the valley, including parks and recreation centers, Boys and Girls Clubs, libraries, day camps, and apartment complexes. Volunteers and partners will pack more than 35,000 summer meals each week.
