LAS VEGAS (KLAS) – Reports of computer problems at some MGM Resorts properties had some visitors on the Las Vegas Strip posting videos and photos on social media on Tuesday.

Video at the check-in desk at Excalibur showed several people in line throughout the property around 4 p.m.

8 News Now stopped by the New York-New York property and spoke with some who said they had been waiting to check in for an hour and a half.

“I started down there,” Tim Grant said pointing several yards away from the registration desk who was visiting from Texas.

Grant was only halfway to the registration desk at NYNY and said the staff had accommodated those waiting.

“They’ve been nice and given us vouchers and water,” he said. “Nobody wants to wait in line but everyone is doing what they can.”

Shortly after 5 p.m., it appeared there was a little under a three-hour wait at NYNY and self-check-in systems had signs on them stating they were down.

8 News Now reached out to MGM Resorts International and received a response at around 5 p.m. in which a spokesman stated that “the front desk systems were down briefly” on Tuesday afternoon but were restored by 5 p.m. and were operating normally.
