LAS VEGAS (KLAS) – Street closures are in place after police said a person barricaded themselves on a bus in the downtown Las Vegas area.
It happened shortly after 3:30 p.m. near Fremont Street and Charleston Boulevard.
Las Vegas Metro police SWAT officers are currently investigating the scene.
The incident was first reported to officers as a person armed with a knife.
Fremont Street is closed from Charleston and Oakey boulevards. The public is asked to avoid the area.
