LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Police have engaged in a stand-off with a man inside a Henderson home, according to law enforcement officials.
Just after 6 a.m. on Tuesday, Henderson police and fire officials arrived at the 500 block of Sebastian Avenue near Greenway Road and Heather Drive in the southeast Las Vegas valley.
Dispatchers said a man told law enforcement officials that he believed someone was inside his home. The man told police he was armed and refused to leave the residence.
Police say the Crisis Negotiation Team has established contact with the man. Commuters are asked to avoid the area as the situation develops.
