Beautiful @breanna61! I really need to learn that ribbon trick. I bought some e few years ago, but it is too narrow and doesn’t look right. I need to hit up hobby lobby for something wider.

 

You can use narrow ribbon too. I wanted to put a narrow ribbon on the pink tree but didn’t find any I liked so, next year.

My tree is up but already in a sad state – ornaments all over the house, branches bent, thanks to this little MF

 

No tree yet, but this was from 2022 when we were at the Ritz-Carlton Bacara (Santa Barbara) and I realized that one day I would like a 9 foot tall fresh red rose tree too. This picture doesn’t even really do it justice, just stunning in person.

 

And here’s one that I absolutely loved up at Silver Oak Cellars in the Napa Valley that they had set-up over the holidays several years ago. (using their own bottles, of course)

 

I had time to put up my tree yesterday. It’s the same one I’ve been putting up for the past few years. Although, I’ve been adding on some new ornaments every year. A few of the ornaments date back to the early ’50s and are what’s left from my parent’s collection. I also 3D printed a number of different ornaments too.

 

And just in general ideas again, I saw this and thought it was clever and cute.

 

You can buy inexpensive felt Xmas trees for decor and I think it’s a great idea if you are travelling and can put it up on the window/cabinets/wall. Easy to pack.

 

You could also decorate like a 3rd Grader, but I admire your craftiness! 😉

 

LOL…had my own little MFer who destroyed the tree every year. This will be our third Christmas without him and putting up the tree has never been the same adventure. I placed a Christmas ornament in his urn. I was going to place him under the tree this year because I knew he would have loved it, but I thought that might be viewed as peculiar by visitors. So I found this plaque which was purrfect (Soot was all black) and put up his own little tree.

 

Oh geez, you just made me cry. So sweet!
