LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — The Seven Magic Mountains south of Las Vegas will undergo a paint job as part of its routine maintenance.
Crews will repaint the bottom of all the boulders beginning Monday, Dec. 6. People can still visit the large-scale sculpture in the desert but there will be barriers around them. It’s a popular place to take photos.
There was a proposal to move the massive art sculpture north to Reno but no word on whether that’s happening. So, for now, the boulders are staying put.
The work should be done by January 24.
