LAS VEGAS (KLAS) – Nevada State Police advise drivers to avoid I-11 southbound after a semi-truck carrying motor oil rolled over and crashed.

It happened around 3 p.m. on Monday along the I-11 as a result, exit 2 off-ramp will be closed for the next three to four hours, according to NSP.

The oil spill is not a public safety hazard but will take time to clean up, police added.

The semi-truck driver was not injured in the crash and no other vehicles were involved, police stated.

Drivers are advised to use alternate routes.

Nevada State Police posted the traffic alert on its X account shortly after 3 p.m.

Police released no other information.
