Las Vegas Sun: “Brown’s Campaign Did Not Respond to a Request For Comment to Elaborate Further His Support for IVF”

Over the weekend, the Las Vegas Sun reported that MAGA extremist Sam Brown refused to say how he would vote on legislation to protect IVF, confirming what we have known all along – Brown is another extreme anti-choice politician who will stand with his party over protecting Nevadan’s rights.

Last week, Senate Republicans, led by top Sam Brown ally Cindy Hyde-Smith, voted against a bill to federally protect access to IVF treatment. Hyde-Smith, who also chairs the Senate Pro-life Caucus, personally hosted a fundraiser for Sam Brown’s campaign just last year and donated $5K through her PAC last quarter.

Sam Brown’s strong support for overturning Roe v. Wade opened the door for these attacks on women’s reproductive rights. Even after seeing the consequences of his actions, Brown has doubled down on his stance. On his campaign website today, Brown says that opposing abortion rights would be his litmus test for confirming judges if he was elected to the Senate.

Nevada State Democratic Party Spokesperson Katharine Kurz

“We won’t let Nevada voters forget that anti-abortion extremists like Sam Brown opened the door for this dangerous attack on families pursuing fertility treatments, and then he refused to support a legislative solution while Senators like Jacky Rosen fought to protect those rights.”
