iGaming product developer Pragmatic Play has launched Missions, personalized challenges designed to gamify it online slot offerings.

With Missions, online casino operators can create campaigns in which players attempt to complete objectives during their slot play to win instant prizes. Through Missions, Pragmatic Play believes they can keep customers playing, as they will have goals to shoot for beyond the basics of trying win the next slot pull.

“Missions elevates the player experience by enabling Pragmatic Play partners to offer personalized challenges across our entire range of slots,” said Pragmatic Play’s Director of Public Relations Sharon McHugh in Wednesday’s announcement. “This adds a new element of gamification for players, whose engagement can lead to additional daily rewards in their favorite games.”

Missions campaigns can have as many as 50 objectives, fully customizable by the internet gaming operator. Objectives can run simultaneously or one at a time. Players, naturally, can track their progress. Operators are also given the option to allow players to reset their campaigns for up to 14 days to give themselves a chance at more prizes and different objectives.

Pragmatic Play’s portfolio includes non-slot offerings such as live dealer table games and bingo, but it appears that Missions are only for online slots.
