LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A motorcyclist is dead following a crash on the south end of the Las Vegas Strip early Wednesday morning.
The crash was reported around 12:15 a.m. at the intersection of East Reno Avenue and South Las Vegas Boulevard.
Las Vegas Metropolitan police said a man on a motorcycle, between the ages of 18 to 25, was traveling southbound on the Strip and ran a red light at Reno when a driver in a large SUV was making a left turn from Reno onto the Strip.
The motorcyclist died at the scene. Police said the SUV driver wasn’t injured and did not display any signs of impairment.
This is the 36th traffic-related fatality in Metro’s jurisdiction for 2025.
