LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Police arrested two suspects accused of robbing two Henderson banks in January.
Denzel Jones, 23, and Trashauna Outlaw, 21, both face two counts of robbery with a deadly weapon, two counts of burglary with a deadly weapon, eight counts of assault with a deadly weapon and two counts of conspiracy to commit robbery, records showed.
On Jan. 18 around 9:10 a.m., Henderson police responded to the Chase Bank located at 90 North Stephanie Street near the 215 after a report of an armed robbery. The suspect was said to have been armed with a black handgun and left the scene after getting into the passenger side of a vehicle, police said.
A week later on Jan. 25, just after 9:10 a.m., another armed robbery was reported at the American First Credit Union at 10608 South Eastern Avenue near West Horizon Ridge Parkway.
According to police, no one was injured during the robberies.
Henderson detectives later identified Jones and Outlaw as the suspects. On Saturday, Feb. 1, with the help of the FBI, the North Las Vegas Police Department and the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, Henderson police located and arrested Jones and Outlaw without incident.
