LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A person found dead matches the description of a teen girl who went missing on Monday, police said.

On Sunday at approximately 11:00 a.m., the City of Henderson Police and Fire Departments responded to a desert area east of Desert Sunflower Circle and Spanish Needle Street, near East Horizon Ridge Parkway, after receiving reports of a dead body.

Upon arrival, officers said they discovered a woman’s body that matched the description of Jennaleah “Jenna” Hin, who had been reported missing on Monday. Family members said Hin had left her home after an argument with her parents Monday night without her phone or any money.

Henderson detectives are investigating the scene, and based on initial findings, law enforcement officials said there appear to be no signs of foul play.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Henderson Police Department at 702-267-4911 or, to remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers at 702-385-5555.
