LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle early Wednesday morning in Henderson.

The crash was reported shortly after 3:30 a.m. S. Eastern and Richmar avenues, south of the 215 Beltway, Henderson police said.

The northbound lanes of Eastern are closed from Richmar to Candelaria Avenue while the crash is being investigated. The will impact traffic heading north on Eastern to connect to the 215. The southbound lanes on Eastern remain open to traffic.

Police said speed and impairment are unknown factors, at this time. More details are expected to be released later.
