LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — It’s getting spooky in the valley, meaning the Parade of Mischief returns to the streets of Downtown Summerlin with its frightfully festive floats and tons of mischievous mayhem.
The spooktacular family-friendly parade will feature over 90 characters and floats, including an alien pod, a Star Wars pod, a Dia de los Muertos float, an Addams Family float, and more! More than 80 local youth dressed in frightful and festive costumes will perform on Plaza Centre Drive every weekend to share the fun of the season with the community.
“I would recommend getting down here early, pick up some food, pick your spot on the street and really make a night of it,” said Halee Harczynski, marketing director for Downtown Summerlin. “Some of my favorite spots (to catch the action) are over at Grape Street, near “It’s Sugar”, and then my other favorite spot is H&M. The pods stop throughout the entire parade route so no matter where you stand you get a great show, and you see something new every time.”
The Parade of Mischief takes place every Friday and Saturday during October on Plaza Center Drive at 6 p.m. Costumes, face masks, and coverings are allowed for children. Fake weapons are prohibited.
