LAS VEGAS (KLAS) – A teen suspect accused in the murder of a man in North Las Vegas on Sunday has been arrested, according to police.

On Friday, Arnaz Jones, 16, was located and arrested by North Las Vegas Police.

On Sunday around 9 a.m., North Las Vegas police responded to a report of a shooting at an apartment in the 2900 block of East Centennial Parkway near North Pecos Road.

When officers arrived, they found a man, later identified by the Clark County coroner’s office as 33-year-old Correy Dennis, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to his stomach area. He was later pronounced dead.

The suspect left the scene before officers arrived. On Tuesday, police identified the suspect as Jones.

He was taken to the Clark County Juvenile Detention Center on charges of open murder, according to police.
