LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Nevada State Police is celebrating its 3rd place win for having one of the nicest looking patrol vehicles in the U.S. Their cruiser will be featured in a 2025 calendar.
NSP was competing against other highway patrol divisions across the country. First place went to Florida and 2nd place for Kentucky. Nevada submitted photos of Nevada’s new 2024 Ford Mustang alongside a restored NSP 1990 Ford Mustang with the slogan “Make History, Leave a Legacy” to show the journey of patrol cruisers.
The new Mustang patrol cruiser will be featured in the American Association of State Troopers calendar next year. The Nevada State Police, formally the Nevada Highway Patrol, is celebrating its 75th anniversary.
