LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A deadly multi-vehicle crash caused road closures in the west Las Vegas valley Sunday.
On Sunday around 1:30 p.m., Nevada State police responded to a report of a crash on Lake Mead Boulevard over the U.S. 95 overpass. NSP said multiple vehicles were involved in the crash.
One person was pronounced dead at the scene and a woman was taken to a local hospital for minor injuries, NSP said.

The Lake Mead Boulevard eastbound and westbound lanes over the US. 95 were closed from Rainbow Boulevard to Rock Spring Drive. The U.S. 95 northbound and southbound ramps at Lake Mead were also closed.
NSP said the roads would be closed for several hours and asked drivers to avoid the area and use alternate routes.
