LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A motorcyclist was killed in a crash Wednesday evening after he collided with a Tesla.
According to Henderson police, the crash happened at 6 p.m. and involved a 36-year-old motorcyclist traveling at a high rate of speed westbound on Horizon Drive approaching Greenway Road when he failed to stop at a traffic light and crashed into the Telsa which made a left turn in front of the motorcyclist.
Impairment is unknown at this time, police said.
The motorcyclist was transported to Sunrise Hospital where he died of his injuries. The Clark County Coroner’s office will release his name.
This is Henderson’s 18th traffic-related fatality for 2024.
