LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A motorcyclist died Tuesday after a crash in south Las Vegas, according to the Nevada State Police Highway Patrol.
The collision occurred just before 5 p.m. on Tuesday at the intersection of Warm Springs and Paradise roads where investigators said a motorcycle going west ran a red light and struck a sedan.
The motorcycle rider, identified as Russell Allen Ellison, 50, of Las Vegas, was thrown from the motorcycle. He was taken to an area hospital, where he died.
The crash remains under investigation by the Nevada State Police Highway Patrol’s Traffic Homicide Unit. The department’s Southern Command Region One has investigated 15 fatal crashes resulting in 15 deaths in 2025 so far.
