LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A motorcyclist is dead after a crash in the east Las Vegas valley Sunday.
Around 2:30 p.m., Metro police responded to the area of Lamb Boulevard south of Washington Avenue after a report of a crash involving a motorcycle.
Evidence at the scene and video of the crash showed that a Yamaha YZF-R6 motorcycle was traveling northbound in the southbound lanes of Lamb Boulevard at the same time a Jeep Patriot was attempting to make a left turn, police said.
The crash occurred when the motorcycle crashed into the left side of the Jeep, causing the motorcycle to overturn and slide into a nearby Toyota Camry, according to police.
Medical personnel determined the motorcyclist was beyond resuscitation and he was pronounced dead. His death marks the 55th traffic-related fatality in LVMPD’s jurisdiction for 2025.
The drivers remained at the scene and showed no signs of impairment, police said.
