LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Las Vegas police have released the identity of the officer involved in a deadly shooting in a neighborhood near Sunset Park.
The officer is identified as Alexander Bookman, 26, who has been employed with Metro since 2021. He is on routine administrative leave pending the outcome of a review of the shooting, Metro said.
The shooting happened Tuesday, Nov. 12 on Wine River Drive in a neighborhood near Eastern Avenue and Sunset Road.
