LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A man is dead after a crash south of the Harry Reid International Airport Tuesday evening, Nevada State Police said.

Around 5 p.m., police responded to a report of a crash involving a motorcycle and a sedan at the intersection of Warm Springs and Paradise roads.

A man was pronounced dead at the scene and a woman was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

The westbound Warm Springs Road 215 entrance was closed, as well as all southbound lanes on Paradise Road north of Warm Springs. Warm Springs eastbound, west of Paradise had reduced travel lanes. Paradise northbound, south of Warm Springs also had reduced travel lanes. The intersection of Warm Springs and Paradise roads was set to be closed for an undetermined time for investigation, NSP said.

Drivers are advised to avoid the area and use alternate routes.
