LAS VEGAS( KLAS) — A man died nearly a week after he was found in a car suffering from apparent gunshot wounds, according to North Las Vegas police.

On Tuesday, March 5, around 7 p.m., North Las Vegas police responded to a report of a crash in the 60 block on Dreamy Hill Avenue near Centennial Parkway and 5th Street.

When officers arrived, they found the driver, identified as a man believed to be in his late 20s, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds, police said.

The victim was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.

On March 11, detectives were notified that the victim had succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the hospital.
