LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A major Las Vegas valley freeway was temporarily blocked Saturday, causing delays for drivers commuting through the area.
The incident occurred around noon on Saturday. The Regional Transportation Commission (RTC) said all I-11 (U.S. 95) northbound lanes between Nellis Boulevard and Russel Road were temporarily closed.
Just before 2:30 p.m., the lanes were reopened, and traffic was allowed through the area. Officials did not detail the incident that caused the hours-long closure and delayed commuters in the area.
