LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A Las Vegas nonprofit is hosting an annual back-to-school shopping event that they say is aimed at helping students arrive for the new school year in style.

According to officials from local non-profit “Project 150,” Clark County School District high school students can shop for a variety of new clothing, shoes, and accessories at no cost to them. The program offers a wide selection of new and gently used clothing, including casual, formal, and business attire, officials say, adding that students can also receive free supply-filled backpacks as part of the program.

“We are thrilled to continue supporting our local high school students with the essential supplies and clothing they need to start the school year with confidence,” said Kelli Kristo, Executive Director of “Project 150.” “Our goal is to ensure every student has the resources to succeed academically and personally, regardless of their circumstances.”

In addition to the back-to-school shopping event, high school students can come to “Project 150” once a month to freshen up their wardrobes, officials said. Representatives from the nonprofit said it also provides students with full-size hygiene products and free meals once a week.

Interested parties can check out any of Project 150’s two locations:

  • 3600 N. Rancho Drive (Rancho Drive and Gowan Road)
  • 2605 E. Flamingo Road (Flamingo Road and Eastern Avenue)
