LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Las Vegas police are responding to a barricade involving an armed suspect in an east Las Vegas valley home.
According to officers with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the barricade is at the 600 block of Harney Court near north Lamb Boulevard and east Bonanza Road.
Police believe the suspect is barricaded in a home in the area with a firearm. Authorities reported an assault involving the gun, but no injuries have been reported.
Tactical units, SWAT, and negotiators have been dispatched to the scene, police said.
Traffic is currently blocked in both directions on Lamb Boulevard, and police are advising commuters to avoid the area.
