LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Kitten season is in full swing, and The Animal Foundation’s nursery is overflowing with tiny furballs in need of love.

As of Tuesday, 63 kittens are being cared for, and many more are expected to arrive in the coming weeks. Many of these kittens have been orphaned and require extra care and attention.

At the Animal Foundation, no appointment is needed to foster a kitty; one can simply walk in between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m., and let a staff member know they’re interested. Most fostering commitments last between 2 to 8 weeks, and the clinic will provide everything one needs to care for their new furry friend.

They’re located at 655 North Mojave Road, Las Vegas, Nevada, 89101.

Kitten season runs from March through October, and during this time, thousands of kittens pass through the nursery. One can visit the Animal Foundation to foster and or adopt the cats in need of a new home.
