LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A Las Vegas festival set to be headlined by heavy metal legends Metallica and rock icons Linkin Park in 2025 was cancelled, the promoters announced Friday.
Sick New World was originally slated to be held at the Las Vegas festival grounds on April 12, 2025. Now, the show will not go on, due to “unforeseen circumstances.”
According to the festival’s website, the festival “encountered unforeseen circumstances that [they] are unable to overcome for next year’s show.”
The festival did not explain what those circumstances were or how they lead to the cancellation of the festival.
Sick New World added that they extended a “heartfelt thanks to the all the dedicated SNW fans who had made plans to join us for another cultural celebration of hard rock, goth, alternative and heavy music.”
