LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — The driver accused of causing a crash that left a motorcyclist dead was leaving the Santa Fe Station casino after having a “few drinks,” according to the arrest report.
Edward Dukes, 28, was arrested following the Tuesday afternoon crash near Lone Mountain Road and Rainbow Boulevard.

The motorcyclist, identified as Joshua Yokley, 43, was traveling on Lone Mountain when Duke’s car pulled out of the casino parking lot and crashed into Yokley, causing him to be thrown from the motorcycle. He was taken to University Medical Center where he was pronounced dead a few hours later.
Following the crash, Dukes admitted to police he had a few drinks inside the casino and then complained of an injury, documents stated.
Dukes was also taken to UMC, where he was met by an officer who conducted a breath and field sobriety test, both of which he failed, the report said. Two blood draws were also done on Dukes. Those results take longer to process.
According to court documents, Dukes remains in the Clark County Detention Center. A judge set his bail at $250,000 because he considered him a potential danger to the community.
