LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — During the Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix weekend, a guest took in over $1 million at a casino after placing a $50 bet, winning over 20,000 times the original wager.
On Thursday, the guest, who chose to remain anonymous, placed a $50 bet on the Dragon Link slot machine by Aristocrat Gaming in the high-limit gaming lounge on the casino floor of The Palazzo at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas.
The guest hit the jackpot moments later, winning a staggering $1,027,980. That gambler was just the latest to bring in big winnings at the Venetian Resort. Earlier in November, a lucky winner multiplied their bet 24,000 times, winning $1.2 million.
In August, a Las Vegas local won $454,000 playing the Monopoly Cash Wheel after just 10 minutes of play.
In July, another jackpot winner netted an eye-watering $2.1 million jackpot on a Wheel of Fortune slot machine at Palms Casino Resort.
