LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A portion of the I-15 will have lane restrictions and ramp closures through the next couple of weeks as the I-15 South Project continues.
The Nevada Department of Transportation said the work is part of an $86 million project that will widen the freeway and make improvements along about nine miles of the I-15 between Sloan Road and Warm Springs Road.
From Monday, Aug. 5 through Friday, Aug. 9, from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m., the southbound I-15 off-ramp to Starr Avene be closed and drivers will be detoured to St. Rose Parkway.
From Monday, Aug. 5 through Wednesday, Aug. 7 from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., southbound I-15 will be reduced to two lanes between St. Rose Parkway and Sloan Road.
From Sunday, Aug. 11 to Friday, Aug 16, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., southbound I-15 will be reduced to one lane between St. Rose Parkway and Sloan Road. The St. Rose Parkway on-ramp to southbound I-15 will also be closed during these days and times.

NDOT advises motorists to use caution when driving through the work zones and to take alternate routes if possible.
