LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Massive crowds rallied across the nation Saturday taking part in a “Hands Off!” march in protest against the Trump administration and Elon Musk’s recent actions on several issues including government downsizing, the economy, and immigration.
In Las Vegas, a rally was held in the Arts District with over 600 people showing up around 1 p.m. with signs and megaphones in hand.
“We had the streets lined all around with all walks of life. From people in wheelchairs, to people walking their dogs and children. It was wonderful to see the support,” attendee, Lori Krater said.
“The unprecedented amounts of executive actions by Donald Trump have put so many people out of work and caused so many people trouble and grief. How could you not be out here?” Gregory Clark asked.
Saturday’s “Hands Off!” rally was peaceful and Metro police were stationed on every corner throughout the Arts District. The rally which mostly took place near Charleston Boulevard and Main Street lasted for three hours.
