LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — The City of Henderson plans to add to the names listed on its Henderson Veterans Memorial Wall.

The wall, next to Henderson City Hall was originally inscribed with 1,213 names now bears more than 1,900 veterans and soldiers but there is room for more. This year, there is a new category for Korean War veterans. The other categories are deceased veterans, Vietnam veterans, Persian Gulf War Veterans, Global War on Terror veterans, and veterans killed in action.

The city is accepting applications for the names of living or deceased veterans who currently live in Henderson, or lived in Henderson during a period of their service, and any soldiers killed in action and have lived in Henderson from 1980 to the present.
