LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — If you’ve ever wondered what the inside of your body looks like, a local exhibit will give you a close-up look at the organs, bones, muscles, and more that make up the human body — and it’s done using real bodies.
The exhibit, Real Bodies, is honoring American Heart Month by doing a donation campaign to benefit the Children’s Heart Foundation of Nevada.
The exhibit features 20 preserved human bodies and more than 200 anatomical parts. One display focuses on the heart and is meant to raise awareness about heart health throughout February. There are interactive experiences, special ticket packages, and a heart wall where visitors can leave heartfelt messages.
The exhibit will match any donation given by those who purchase a ticket to the exhibit.
“We’re honored to support the Children’s Heart Foundation this month. Every visitor has a chance to make a difference, whether by leaving a heartfelt message on our dedication wall or making a donation that directly helps kids in our community,” said MacKenzie Rollison, vice president of Las Vegas Business Development.
