David Copperfield’s show at the MGM Grand is an unforgettable experience that blends mind-bending illusions with heartfelt storytelling. It’s so good, that we featured the show in our list of the best shows in Las Vegas.

Held in the intimate David Copperfield Theater, the venue’s design ensures that magic comes to life from every seat. To help you get the best view and value, we’ve put together an article that covers everything you need to know.

Before we get started, let’s talk a little about the theater itself. As we mentioned, it’s intimate. The theater features a compact layout and accommodates just over 700 guests. Rather than traditional theater seating, you’ll be sitting at tables. It’s effectively split into two sections: section 1 and section 2. However, the theater is divided into multiple categories when it comes to pricing.

These range from meet-and-greet tickets in row A to seats in category E at the back of the theater. The categories can get a little confusing, as category G seats provide a closer view than those in category E. So, we’ll spare you the ins and outs of every category. We will tell you that despite the theater’s intimacy, choosing the right seat can still improve your experience and offer the best possible view of the magic unfolding before your eyes.

What seats offer the best view?

The price tag and proximity to the stage suggest that seats in rows A, B, and C at the front of the theater offer the best view. Sitting in these rows comes with two advantages: you’re close to the action, and you increase your chances of being part of the performance. If you choose to sit in rows A or B, you also have the option of a meet-and-greet experience ($230). Seats at the front of the theater are priced between $127 and $230.

If you prefer a slightly wider view of the stage, consider seats further back in the middle of section 1.

These seats still provide an exceptional experience, especially for enjoying larger-scale illusions. They also give you a better perspective of the stage’s layout.

Which seats offer the best value?

Value can mean different things to different people, but for David Copperfield’s show, it refers to seats that offer the best view for what you pay. They don’t have to be the cheapest, but they should provide an excellent experience relative to the price.

As mentioned earlier, seats at the back of section 1, particularly those in Row H, offer the best value. These seats are priced just over $100.

Is accessible seating available?

Yes, accessible seating is available in Row H.
