LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A bicyclist is dead following a hit-and-run crash early Monday morning in the south valley.
The crash was reported just before 3 a.m. According to Las Vegas Metropolitan police, a vehicle struck a bicyclist in the eastbound lanes of Silverado Ranch Boulevard, east of Bermuda Road.
Police said the cyclist died and the driver of the vehicle fled the scene.
The east and westbound lanes of Silverado Ranch are closed to traffic as police investigate the crash.
