LAS VEGAS (KLAS)– Absolute Dental and Cowabunga Bay joined forces to provide a day filled with fun and charitable donations for families in Las Vegas affected by cancer.
On Saturday, June 29, Absolute Dental and Cowabunga Bay Cares Day was held to support Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Foundation of Nevada. The nonprofit organization is dedicated to assisting families affected by childhood cancer through emotional, educational, and financial needs.
Absolute Dental wanted to add to the cause and invited the community to Cowabunga Bay in Henderson. Cowabunga Bay was open until 8 p.m.
“Supporting families and children affected by cancer is a cause close to our hearts. We invite the community to join us for a fun-filled day while making a significant impact in the lives of these families,” Julie Cotton, Director of Community Partnerships at Absolute Dental, said.
Tickets to Cowabunga Bay were available for half the price and for every pass sold $5 was donated to The Candlelighters.
Cowabunga Bay sales director Alexandra Barbour explained that their collaboration with Absolute Dental underscores their commitment to giving back to the community.
“We are proud to support the Candlelighters and hope this event will bring joy and much-needed support to these brave children and their families,” Barbour shared.
