Originally, this trip had almost no plans. I would take my time getting there, go wherever, play whenever, eat whatever. But as the trip got closer, plans became more solidified. I originally was going to leave Friday morning, but I now have plans for early Saturday morning, so I need to be in a hotel Friday night. And it’s gonna be a road trip, again! Currently, my plan is to leave tomorrow afternoon, after work. I should make it to somewhere in Utah by bedtime, probably a little bit before Green River. Then I’ll get up early on Friday and finish the drive to Vegas, swing by Jerry’s Nugget (duh), and check in to M Resort around 5PMish. But that plan might go awry, because I want to make a lot of stops along the way and try out a new toy I got and get some photos…so….who knows. Maybe I can leave work early on Thursday. I even have a $50 food credit at M Resort, so that really solidified my need to get in Friday afternoon, hah.
Anyway, actual plans this first half of the trip:
1) Empire Strips Back at Rio
2) Jerrys Nugget
3) Take a coworker, who lives in Vegas, to the range for their first time
4) Root Beer Float at Rio
5) Meet a certain VMBer who’s celebrating their 40th birthday again
6) Have a nice dinner somewhere
7) Swing by Resorts World to burn my freeplay, again.
I leave for DC, from LAS, Monday morning. Then I come back…and don’t have a hotel booked. I’ll figure it out though. Maybe CET, or maybe I ask my host to book me a room at a MGM property…
